Do you sometimes feel that all the things that are coming against you just aren't "natural"? Does something seem to interrupt you every time you hunker down to read your bible? How about when you pray? How about Sunday mornings when you should be getting up and going to church? I do not remember anything hindering me from participating in the things that I shouldn't have been doing when I was younger. Stop and think about it; why would these things only come against you when you want to do the things of God? Well, I believe that the Apostle Paul had something to say about that.
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12).
Satan is alive and well today; and even though his days are numbered, that doesn't stop him from wanting to destroy your relationship with God. Determine to stand firm against his schemes; read your Bibles, determine to set aside time for prayer, worship with other believers and share your faith with others. You see, God loves you and has a plan for your life. Satan also has a plan for your life; he hates you and wants to destroy you. He will do anything he can to destroy your relationship with Jesus. Everyone has to choose whether to stand, or to give in. I am praying that all of my friends make the right choices.
Blessings to you all!
